After graduating with a Business degree from the University of Toronto, Dave Mclean received an Auditing position with PKF Chartered Accountants in downtown Toronto. Dave worked diligently for 3 years in Accounting, Auditing and Tax. However he grew restless for something more.
Looking to satisfy his entrepreneurial spirit Dave chose to pursue a new career in Real Estate in 1988. For over 20 years he has worked as a Real Estate Agent in the GTA and has a very successful career with a long list of satisfied and very loyal clients. He presently works at Re/Max Hallmark Realty in the Beaches, the largest Real Estate office in Ontario. He is a member of the 100% club and the Re/max Hall of Fame.
In his Real Estate dealing Dave saw an ever growing demand for Junk Removal. His close friend Sean Weir had worked in the Junk Removal business already for 2 years. They both felt with their experience they could bring something special into the industry. Their mission was to deliver the absolute highest standards. They were determined to deliver such outstanding personal service that their customers could not think of calling anyone else. A concept Dave had developed in his Real Estate career. They also decided that to give the best service they had to hire the best employees to represent the company. They decided to pay them more than the standard wages with better benefits and better bonuses. With a strong commitment to the environment, they also felt they should only use the newest best trucks and recycle or donate at least 60% of everything they collected.
So far the results have been outstanding. Currently they have 8 employees. There is a great work environment with an extremely pleasant and committed staff. Their referral and repeat business has been beyond even their expectations.
